This is, to quote another blog, an exercise in presumption. Tapped by Elena, it seems I must discern what I would be patron saint of, should I be canonized. Please limit your guffaws to less than thirty seconds.
Okay, you're back. I hope it took less than thirty seconds.
I think I would go with Patron Saint of Beer-Drinkers, though I fear there's too much competition for that title so maybe I could specialize under Patron of Guinness Stout Drinkers, or, failing that Patron of Those Who Can't Find a Patron Saint. Yes, I like that.
I think Elena should be patron saint of blogging mothers, or perhaps of the thrifty?
I really liked Adore Te Devote's response to this meme:
Mr. Olsen's painting, "Forgiveness", is me. Constantly, me. Going to Jesus, my head down, hands in His, being forgiven, over and over again. But not looking up, because even though I know He has forgiven me, I can't look up at his patient and loving expression, knowing I'm not worthy of His forgiveness. I'm not worthy of His wounds...Nice...
I'd be the Patroness of People Who Have Difficulty Accepting God's Mercy.
And, because there isn't one, the Patroness of Claims Adjusters and Insurance Investigators , and maybe by extension Insurance Agents as well.
I hereby tag Dylan, Ellyn,
