I ought to pull that off the shelf again. A while back the Jerusalem Bible soured on me pretty badly when I discovered the ludicrous "janitors of Shadowland" lurking somewhere in Job: http://www.firstthings.com/onthesquare/2010/08/the-liturgical-expertsrsquo-long-tassels
I'm currently posting over at http://summaminutiae.wordpress.com- my employer reiterated their social media policies recently and though they graciously have never complained, I realized I was violating most of their policies by hosting my stuff with a viewpoint on their servers.
"Janitors of Shadowland" is outrageous. Everyone knows the correct phrase should be: "sanitation engineers of Shadowland".
I looked up Job 38:17 in the New Jerusalem Bible, to see if the editors were properly repentant, but they're sticking to their story: "have you seen the janitors of the Shadow dark as death?"
Did see you posting at the new location, and have you in my feed.

"sanitation engineers" - ha! With their infernal machines that beep when they drive backwards.
I just can't believe you're still reading this ancient blog, some eight-nine years in!
One of the old reliables.
