The Gold Standard in Scamming

Received a Nigerian scammer email. Previous to this one I'd probably received six or eight in a row with addresses other than Nigeria, mostly upstart Sierra Leona. I expressed my relief in my response to the scammer (I try to send responses since if everyone did it would slow their mission to steal).
Dear Mr. Cole,

I am greatly relieved to have received this email, as I have received a plethora of emails over the past year that purportedly did not originate in Nigeria. While the diversity that represents is good, I was taken aback because the true stars in the email Nigerian scammer business are definitionally Nigerians. Nigeria is to the scamming biz what the former Soviet Union was to hockey: you want them to do well if only because you want the challenge of playing the best, not cheap imitations.
