Is it Red Heifer Time?

I'm not sure the whole society-is-hanging-by-a-thread gibe I'm feeling is intuitive, a bit of undigested gruel, or the result of reading too many Peggy Noonan columns but the next war is on:
The next Middle East war—Israel against genocidal Islamism—has begun. The first stage of the war started two weeks ago, with the Israeli incursion into Gaza in response to the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier and the ongoing shelling of Israeli towns and kibbutzim; now, with Hezbollah's latest attack, the war has spread to southern Lebanon. Ultimately, though, Israel's antagonists won't be Hamas and Hezbollah but their patrons, Iran and Syria.
Oy vey. I've got the shakes; time for some comfort food. I have a sudden desire to shuffle books to and fro just for the excuse of handling them, ala William Gladstone. (I love the smell of mass market paperbacks in the morning).

Been reading Mother Angelica's biography and it's plain that she has the intuition of ten women (with the help of the Holy Spirit) and her surety about a coming Chastisement is depressing. Well at least the red heifer story linked above turned out to be false.
