Just as I thought: you indulge in multiculturalist/quota projects to the extent the stakes are low (even in France):
"The reason she did not have the female vote is not because there was no solidarity but because she was not up to it," said Tita Zeitoun, founder of the Action de Femme group which fights to get more women into top business positions.

"Just because you're a feminist, you don't vote for a women who does not have the ability. We're talking about the presidential election here ... It's too serious to link this to a phenomenon of femininity or feminism," she said.

Three Republican candidates "don't believe in evolution."

What can we learn about this agony & ecstasy scene from the aftermath of the French elections? Well, based on the two photos (absurdly small sample size), the more "American" you look, the more likely you were to vote against the socialist candidate. I mean, who in America wears those stripey leg-warmer things? And the guy next to her has on some sort of morph between a tie and an ascot. And with the top photo, what (alas) is more American than wearing a sleeveless shirt with a heart on it?
