One of those old '60s church songs that you can't get out of your head if you're of a certain age is "Whatsoever you Do...". I endured it well enough when I was a kid, albeit scandalized by the word "naked" in a hymn (i.e. generally sang as "when I was *cough, cough*, you gave me your coat). Here are the lyrics with the caveats of the judgmental:
Refrain: Whatsoever You Do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.
1. When I was hungry, you gave me to eat1.
When I was thirsty, you gave me to drink2.
Now enter into the home of my Father. Refrain
2. When I was homeless, you opened your door3.
When I was naked, you gave me your coat4.
Now enter into the home of my Father. Refrain
3. When I was weary, you helped me find rest5.
When I was anxious, you calmed all my fears6.
Now enter into the home of my Father. RefrainFine Print?:
1 - unless hunger caused by spending too much on books and not enough on food
2 - unless thirst is due to too much alcohol the night before
3 - unless homelessness caused by giving up job because it was boring
4 - unless naked because caught in flagrante
5 - unless weary due to too much self-indulgent blogging
6 - unless anxious about how much you live up to this song
