My, my. Not since the advent of Jesse James has someone come along and so successfully profited off the backs of others as has Ben Nelson, the plucky Nebraskan Senator who held up the U.S. Treasury for Medicaid aid "in perpetuity". To quote the old song
The Twelfth of Never, "that's a long, long time." I've been lately hypmotized by this latest legislative trainwreck, er, process, which makes its own argument for why the government shouldn't be involved in health care.
